Are you passionate about football? Looking to develop your leadership skills and gain some hands-on experience? Want to boost your profile with some interesting and relevant volunteer work? Then perhaps you are the newest member of CBS Sport’s Football Council.
A part of CBS’ largest student organization, CBS Sport, is organised with sports responsibles for the different sport departments; the football department has the Football Council, which consists of 3 members. It has the overall responsibility of CBS Sport Football and its 8 teams and +130 members. Only 7 years old, CBS Sport Football has seen a rapid expansion of teams and members, as well as positive results on the field – last season resulted in 5 out of 8 teams being promoted. We are now looking for a new council member who can bring new ideas and initiative to the table.
The position consumes about 10 hours a week on average, with the busy periods being the late summer and early spring (pre-season).
- Day-to-day management such as match planning, finding referees, equipment purchasing and maintenance, player licenses, membership payments, internal administration and IT
- External board positions in the Frederiksberg Football Committee and CBS Sports Committee.
- Budgeting and payment – Strategy and vision for the CBS Sport Football division
- New initiatives, for example coaching courses, indoor tournaments, international tournaments, and sponsors
