CBS Sport DJØF Cup
A new semester is on the horizon, the sun still has a hint of heat to it and your shorts might not be completely packed away hoping for that one summer day to appear once more. All these things have one thing in common for us at CBS Sport: Street Football! Once again, it’s time for our annual outdoor tournament where girls and guys throw themselves around the asphalt chasing a ball, doing magic tricks to get passed there opponents and seriously bruising up their knees to secure victory for their team. Sounds like something for you? Then come join us September 18th!
Unlike previous years, the event will be held at Solbjerg Plads this year. We have arranged to occupy the space between the entrance to SP and Frederiksberg Library. It will be an amazing day with a really great vibe and atmosphere – both if you’re playing, volunteering or just cheering for your friends and foes.
Another thing that’s new this year, is a cooperation with Djøf – hence the name. Djøf will be there during the day to inform about the great stuff they can offer you, network with players and spectators, and simply just join in on the fun. They will have a booth set up just beside the field, so they’ll be easy to spot.
Team registration will start at 09:30 in the morning, so please be early. Scheduled tournament start is 10:00. There is only room for 16 teams for the Djøf Cup, so please be early and pay the sign-up fee for you and your team if you’re interested. Each team has room for 5-6 players – 4 players on the field, with a minimum of one girl at all times, and flowing subs. Sign-up fee is 250 DKK per team.
Sign up here!
There will be great prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd team, as well as an MVP-prize – so make sure to bring your best skills! In addition to this, there will be music playing, epic ball skills and beautiful people. What’s not to love?
If throwing yourself around and asphalt does not sound very appealing for you, we are looking for plenty of volunteers for the first event of the ‘15/’16 school year. Are you looking for something fun, creative and engaging to put on your CV? Then contact Ingrid at firstname.lastname@example.org
We need excellent people to help set-up the field, referee matches, keep score and administrate and take down the set-up during the day. In your e-mail, please note to Ingrid at what times you’ll be able to help. There’ll be free sandwiches and drinks for all volunteers. She’s looking forward to hearing from you!
