New CBS Sport Sponsorhip

CBS Sport stands stronger with Danske Bank

CBS Sport and Danske Bank, Peter Bangs Vej branch, have recently agreed on a new sponsorship deal. Both parties are looking forward to the collaboration.

– The deal with Danske Bank will help us to become stronger. We get the opportunity to continue to offer the students the best possible settings to play sports together, says Christoffer Larsen, CBS Sport, who is looking forward to the local collaboration with Danske Bank.

CBS Sport is a voluntary student organization for the students at Copenhagen Business School, and is currently offering nine different sporting activities – including football.

The branch manager Kenneth Hansen, Danske Bank Peter Bangs Vej branch, states that Danske Bank, as a visible player in local community on Frederiksberg has an interest in supporting the local sports life.

“From the first time I was in dialogue with CBS Sport, I have experienced a true dedication for promoting sport and the student life at CBS. Apart from creating good settings for playing sports, they also take part in strengthening the social network across study lines. This is one of the reasons why we have decided to support CBS Sport”, says branch manager Kenneth Hansen.

Stand Stronger award

As part of the sponsorship, Danske Bank will on an annual basis delegate the “Stand Stronger award”. This award is given on recommendation from the clubs board to a member, whose voluntary efforts have had an important significance to the club.

– We are talking about a member, who has given an extremely good effort in making CBS Sport stand stronger, says Christoffer Larsen, CBS Sport.

Apart from the local support, Danske Bank is the main sponsor for DBU from the 1st of January 2012 until the 31st of July 2016. The sponsorship covers the National Team, U21, U19 and U17, as well as the old boys national team.
