Sports Pool: Football Teambuilding with #gulthold
With funding from the Sports Pool (and others) CBS Sport Football Women had a great teambuilding day!
On the 5th of September the women’s football teams had their annual team building. It was a day with different activities, fun games and test of creativity. The girls proved great commitment although the weather was not at its best.
The teams were divided into four groups (with the team colours neon pink, neon blue, neon green and neon orange) before the day, so they could coordinate clothes and more before the day. Everyone had done their best and people looked fantastic.
The day started outside the Club Room where there was a brief introduction for all teams. Afterwards each team had an individual introduction in the Club Room where they also got beverages and food for the rest of the day. Amongst other things, they were told to write a verse of what should be a CBS Sport Football Women song. At the end of the day, the song would be recorded in a music studio.
After the introduction, all the teams went to Islands Brygge, where they were picked up by a boat and went for an hour canal tour. During the hour, the teams had time to eat lunch and write their verse to the song.
When they came back to Island Brygge, they went back to the Club Room, where a few games took place, i.e. the traditional beer relay. There were also some time do dry clothes after a heavy rain on the way to Islands Brygge.
The last activity of the official program was going to a music studio in Valby to record the song. First, the chorus was recorded and afterwards each team recorded their verse without the other teams present. When the song was fully recorded, everyone went back to the Club Room for dinner and drinks.
The night ended with drinks, playing games and listening to the awesome song, which was recorded earlier on the day.
Overall, another great team building for the CBS Sport Football Women.
By the way, the winner of the day was Team Neon Green, who will conduct the team building next year. We look forward to it!
