Update on Handball Men’s 1st team
Even though I would like to be on the court my self, I think it’s a wiser descicion, to be sidelined during most of the match. My role as a coach came quite suddently, as Daniel threw in the white towel after only a couple of traininfsessions.
After a dissapointing 23-27 loss against KFUM (first game of the season – not even playing a single practice match ahead of the game), the following matches has resulted in nothing but wins, wich means that we at the momont are battling against IF Stadion (whom we defeated 30-28) and Rødovre HK. Rødovre might be our biggest obsticle towards promotion at the end of the season, as they have defeated their opponents with an average of 10 goals per game. A momentary highligt was the 20 goals win against Dragør HK in the cup match, wich has secured us a comfortable lead in that tournament – the game ended 41-21, but I still managed to use some foul language after the game, as we should have won by at least 30 goals..
Best player so far: Martin Tranberg Nielsen.
Wishes for the future: Our wings are performing way below average (Dan not included), we need to show some b****..
Season so far – quite satisfying, giving a mark of 3 out of 5 possible..
Best regards,
Michael Pallisgaard
