CBS Sport Handball in Kvalifikationsrækken!

On the 13th of April, CBS Sport Handball’s women team was playing promotion match against Team Amager 2. After 17 matches, CBS Sport was one point behind Team Amager 2 and a CBS Sport victory would give direct promotion to Kvalifikationsrækken.

The event was promoted both on the webpage and facebook, and on the day a bunch of supporters were ready with drums and great spirit. CBS Sport fought bravely, but on the day Team Amager 2 was simply just better. Check out the pictures here.

But the defeat wasn’t the end of it – as number two in the table, CBS Sport was to play against the other pool’s number two; Herlev-Hjorten. The match was played in Roskilde and in order to keep the pressure of the ladies, no fan event was created and this looked like it did the trick; CBS Sport won 22-19 and thereby all of the awesome support on the 13th of April hadn’t been in vain. CBS Sport was promoted to Kvalifikationsrækken!

Throughout the season the two women’s teams of CBS Sport Handball has gone through an impressive development! Not only have the players of the women’s teams developed their individual skills as handball players, but also as two collaborative teams; they’ve been working as one. Every player has shown a great deal of will, strength, power and personal belief in our opportunities as a team. This very belief combined with the skills of the three coaches has led us to the promotion to Kvalifikationsrækken, along with the victory in the Cup Tournament.

It has indeed been a good season and we look forward celebrating you all and award Player of the Year at the CBS Sport Summer Party!
