Do you fancy a new sport? How about lacrosse?

The KFB Raiders are looking for men and women who are interested in teamwork, exercise and fun, all in a social setting. Lacrosse is one of the oldest sports in the world, played by Native Americans to settle ‘wars’. Since then it has developed into a team sport played all over the world. Lacrosse first came to Denmark in 2002 after a Danish student came back from visiting Canada and was fascinated by the sport.

Since then we have been growing and are constantly on the look out for more people interested in trying something different and having a great time on and off the field. Skill level is not important as we have players with a wide range of experience and are constantly getting new players, who have never tried lacrosse before. KFB Raiders have both a men’s and women’s team, so everyone is welcome to come and give the newest sport in Denmark a try.

Lacrosse is a team sport played on a football field with 10 (men’s) and 12 (women’s) players per side. The game flow is much like hockey; however sticks with nets are used to throw the ball around and ultimately into a goal to score. Men’s Lacrosse is a full-contact sport played over 4, 15 min running quarters, women’s lacrosse is non-contact.

As a club team, the KFB Raiders travel within Denmark to play league games, as well as offer opportunities to travel abroad to international tournaments. If you are interested in trying something new and becoming involved in the fastest growing sport in Europe, please come out and join us.
