In our teams, we have a great mixture of Danish and foreign students, creating an international atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to get to know fellow students and new people from Denmark and around the world.
All teams participate in DBBF’s tournaments, we welcome anybody that has some kind previous basketball experience.
We have three male teams at all levels and the teams practice 1-2 times a week, so if you like to play basketball at a slightly higher level, as well as on a lower stage without it taking all your leisure time, then CBS Sport Basketball is the place for you. Here you have the ability to combine seriousness with fun and unity. Everyone is welcome whether you are an experienced player or a streetballer.
Here are the teams:
1st Men’s team (2. Division Herrer Øst)
This team offers a competitive environment for more experienced basketball players. Expect set plays, an organized defense, and inspired and competitive teammates.
2nd Men’s team (3. Division Herrer Øst)
This team requires experience with organized basketball to participate, but has a more relaxed approach towards competition than the first team. Expect lots of 5-5 in practices, a going-with-the-flow approach to games, and some friendly trash talk.
3rd Men’s team (Serie 1 Herrer Øst)
This team is a mix of newer and more experienced players. If you have some basketball experience, this is where you can develop your game! Expect organized practices and lots of opportunities to improve your basketball skills!
Our women’s team unfortunately had to close down due to lack of players after the 2024-2025 season. If you are interested in starting a women’s basketball team at CBS, or are looking for guidance which club to join, please reach out to basketball@cbssport.dk!
During the first weeks of the fall and spring semester, we are having try-outs / open practices for some of the teams, after which the teams are formed. At the end of the try-out, the coach will talk to you about joining the team or trying out for another CBS team. Please make sure to make it to the first tryout so you have the opportunity to try out for another team the next week.
Try-outs 2025:
Tryouts are held at Skolen på Nyelandsvej this year. The school is located close to the CBS main campus, to access the gym go into the main entrance, up the stairs and to the right.
